When is it Right to Share a Thought?
When is it right to share a thought?
If question first arrives and then an answer,
The answer quips about and dances
Never knowing its true finality.
If answer fires first with smoke and blaze
The question disappears
And other answers swarm upon the speaker
Like wasps annoyed with rain drops falling on their
muddied homes.
Perhaps there is no question in the first place
Maybe it is just a thought -- pure,
unadulterated, honest,
With redeeming qualities
for crowds to source their souls through
And martyrs to grasp on to for hope
And artists to ponder
And writers to enumerate upon
And immigrants to build up
And scientists to research
And future generations to change and shift and re-think.
A thought is only worth another thought,
and in fact demands one;
Even steals it from you.
But only if you get to know it,
Like a kitten that you hold for the first time and it steals your heart
And your home and builds its nest in your cabinets and shits in your closet.
A thought can steal your mind and run with it, consume it,
Become it.
Give a thought another thought and it will amplify the neurons in your brain, in your body, in your soul, in your spirit, in your aura, and keep multiplying thoughts upon thoughts upon thoughts and you will see those thoughts in everything around you. In your friends your fathers your mothers your animals, in the trees as you walk across the grassy fields of the earth that also holds them and feeds them and in the stars you see as you look up thinking only of your thoughts…
How could you steal my thoughts?
How could you consume my every decimal of being?
My infinity.
Like the very energy all around me it cannot ever be fully consumed
or exerted.
How could you?
Here is a thought for you:
Head my warning, unlike the great philosophers of years past and present and future (for like thought, they will always exist despite you).
Ignore thought and walk away free.
Do not imprison yourself in the infinite walls of
conceptual energy that extinguishes only with
Death.
When is it right to share a thought?
Always, for when you share the thought you set it free.
