The LAST Violin Tutorial Video You’ll EVER NEED

Hey guys, my name is Random Internet Violinist and welcome back to my channel, Violin Stuff and Things and Learning Stuff! Today I'm going to thoroughly teach you everything you ever wondered about really broad technique, and the best part is all you need is a violin and the next 20 minutes to watch this video. Then you'll have completely mastered really broad technique and will never have to think about it again because that's definitely how this whole violin thing works.

For those of you who are new to my channel, Violin Stuff and Things and Learning Stuff!, I'm a violin teacher with more than 80 students around the world and one time I won a Youth Symphony Concerto Competition, so I feel like I have a ton of experience and knowledge to share with you all. I also have a performance career but make almost no money doing that, so I started making Youtube videos because I really need a steady stream of income. To prove that I really know how to play the violin, here's a 45-second clip of me playing a slow movement of Bach, debatably featuring really broad technique but only a little.

Now I will bring up my three favorite etudes that address really broad technique, but will fail to mention that the forward of each etude book thoroughly explains how to practice them. I will demonstrate and encourage practicing slowly, pointing out a few helpful details of how I'm accomplishing said really broad technique, telling a helpful anecdote about a former student or perhaps a saying my old teacher used to recite all the time, and then continue with an exact recount of the same semi-useful spiel I've given a thousand students about really broad technique before actually spending the time to go back and forth with them teaching the material.

It is important for me to try to predict a few of these bad tendencies and reactions to really broad technique that I've seen in former and current students to make me feel like just mentioning these potential holes of misinterpretation will thoroughly prevent my viewers to fall into them. Then, because I'm afraid this will be discouraging and make it sound as difficult as it actually is, I'll demonstrate the hardest version of really broad technique I am capable of executing in order to inspire you, the viewer. In reality, I'm unhappy with how I sound but feel the necessity of the demonstration is more important than being happy.

Thanks for watching this video that I just know has helped you become 10x better than you were 20 minutes ago. And even though this was a 100% thorough explanation of really broad technique, I'm offering a week-long Super-Fast Intensive Learning Seminar where you will receive 4 groups lessons for the price of two private ones, plus a 15-minute one-on-one session (not a lesson) with yours truly! If you can't make it to our Super-Fast Intensive Learning Seminar, you can always subscribe to Violin Netflix for less than six cups of coffee a month. There you can learn at your own pace, because regular work is only slightly important to learning violin, and way less important than information. Oh, and don't forget to like and subscribe!
